Daniel grew up in Kelowna, playing many sports through school and enjoying the lakes and mountains of the Okanagan. He completed his Bachelor of Science at UBC Vancouver in 2010, then moved to Brisbane Australia to complete his Masters of Physiotherapy Studies at the University of Queensland in 2015. He stayed in Brisbane, working in private Physiotherapy Clinics as well as training in Clinical Pilates at the Pilates Institute of Queensland, where he would also work as a Clinical Pilates Instructor and Physiotherapist.

Upon returning to Canada, Daniel and his family decided to move to the Shuswap in part because of the abundant natural beauty and recreation opportunities but also because of the strong sense of community in Salmon Arm and the surrounding area, providing the ideal place to raise a family.

His goal as a Physiotherapist is to restore pain-free movement to patients, so they can get back to what they enjoy. This can involve sports/biomechanical screening, acute injury rehab, chronic pain interventions, strengthening/conditioning programs, pre- and post- surgical rehab, workplace injury rehabilitation and injury prevention. He employs high quality manual therapy techniques, integrated Clinical Pilates for rehab and exercise prescription, dry needling and intra-muscular stimulation (IMS), and grounds his skill in the latest scientific research in rehabilitation, pain science and physical therapy.

When not at the clinic, he can often be found with his family hiking, biking, camping or skiing, out in the garden, or reading a book.
